Profile Information

Are you Vegetarian, Vegan or something else?
I eat mostly vegetables and fruit, fish, and occasionally chicken or turkey if it's certified free-range, growth-hormone-free.
About Me:
I believe in the interconnectedness and interdependency of all life; and care about the humane and ethical treatment of all species -- humans and non-humans alike. The eating of mammals actually grosses me out, and for some time even chicken and turkey have become less and less appealing to me. However, I don't begrudge other people's tastes, although I would love to see the decline and ultimate (peaceful) disappearance of corporate slaughter farms and the consumer demand that has kept them in business. I look forward to the day that majority of people evolve to the point where they develop greater vegetarian appetites. Also, I follow the teachings of Nichiren Buddhism -- "Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo!" :-) and also recognise music (a.k.a. mathematical vibrations) as the universal language.
