I’m not sure if many people feel the way I do, but since I’ve become vegan I hate salad! Its weird because I use to love salads, but they were smothered with cheese and creamy dressings. It gets a little frustrating because people assume that’s all I eat, is salad. When a non-veg friend or family member wants to go out to eat they automatically suggest I can get a salad. GROSS! Why is being vegetarian, vegan in my case, so hard on other people? Tonight 9 of us went out to eat at a nice place that actually serves vegan food. It’s serves family style, meaning large portions for sharing. One person we were with eats meat. It’s rare that I even can find a place to eat anything but a nasty salad, so I was really excited about actually sharing an enjoyable vegan meal out. Yea, I know some of you vegetarians are squirming in your seats right now. Why aren’t you vegan? I know you cant give up your cheese! That’s what I thought would be the hardest thing too. But after a few months you wont want it any more, any of it, I promise! Dairy and eggs have just as much pain in them as eating the flash of animals, so if you’ve given up meat because of the animals why wouldn’t you want to give up the rest?
