- Are you Vegetarian, Vegan or something else?
- 110% vegetarian...no fish, poultry, gelatine, rennet, cochineal...you get the picture. Have been since I was 13 - almost 7 years!
- About Me:
- I love learning about the world, trying to reduce my carbon footprint, collecting newspaper articles, animals (wolves are my favourite), natural disasters/phenomenon (volcanos fascinate me), crunchy leaves, snow, trees, protesting for what I believe in (currently about a third runway at Heathrow, as in I don't want one), going for long walks, aromatherapy, alternative therapies, listening to music, watching films, reading, meeting new and like minded people.
I would love to meet up with people like me as well...nobody in my area seems to really have the same ideas as me and think I'm pretty much an eco-freak. I don't think it's a very fair thing to say really...why should people be considered a freak because they care about their home?

Welcome to this amazing community, Anneka! It's really great to have you here :-) 110% veggie, love that! FYI, I think you're an ECO-GODDESS, so tell THAT to anyone who calls you a freak! ;-) Hey, I love wolves to! Have had a special connection to them since a powerful dream I had many years ago.
You'll find that there are many wonderful souls here with so much to offer & inspire us. I hope that you’ll feel moved to participate in the forum discussions, the groups & the Chat Room, they’re all part of the life blood of this community & are what really sets it apart! Looking forward to watching your page blossom & to getting to know you, Sister! Check out the groups I belong to (via my page), there are several there that I know would interest you.
I'm curious to know how you heard about this community? I did through Chris via MySpace. Hope you'll be able to bring your friends over here! We still want to get lots more people to sing up. Did you know that the mere number of members affects the level of corporate sponsorship VegHaven gets? And because ad revenue goes to worthy animal causes (that the membership themselves vote on) just by signing up you get to make a difference for the animals in need, regardless of how active or not you choose to be within the community. But of course, once you get here, it's too fun not to dive in, there's so much going on!

My parents kinda sorta support, me, but not really, they say I'm starving cause I don't eat enough protein lol!
My brother and his family are so country,,,its annoying, and none of my friends in my town are veggie at all!
So there you have it!
You are lucky your boyfriend is supportive, I wish I had a husband who was vegan/veggie and cared about AR issues...:(
