- Are you Vegetarian, Vegan or something else?
- i became a vegetarian in highschool, but wasn't strict about it until college. about 2 years later i went vegan. i've always loved animals, valued them as companions, and respected them as fellow earthlings. becoming vegan was just a natural progression.
- About Me:
- i want to say that i feel so blessed that this site was made known to me. i consider other vegans and vegetarians to be family. we share the same compassion and awareness that is so difficult to find in everyday life like work or even a church. i feel a great passion for the beauty in the world around me, but simultaneously frustrated with society's blindness. i'm a musician, a private poet, a reluctant photographer, a digital artist, an extroverted introvert, and a (liberal) apophatic panentheistic Christian Buddhist that strives for quietism. there's times when i think that i'm going to collapse under the weight of the world... and other times i feel i'm going to burst from being overwhelmed by it's beauty.
- i'm interested in philosophy, sociology, & theology.
- i strongly support gay rights.
- i'm straight! (just for the record).
- i feel as much at home in an electronica club as i do hiking the blue ridge mountains.
- politically, i'm neither republican nor democrat, but rather an independent moderate.
- i am vegan and animal rights advocate.
- i am an abolitionist (as defined by gary francione).
- i am a seeker.
- i am a skeptic.
- i'm a musician & indie record label owner.
- i am an environmentalist.
- i study herbal medicine and natural healing.
- i have strong, evolving opinions.
- i am a Yeshuaist.
- i love life so much it hurts.
