About Me:: I am a daughter, sister, mother, and student. I made the choice to become Vegan February 2007 after watching the documentary, "Earthlings" . Besides motherhood, becoming Vegan has been on the top list of life transforming things I have accomplished so far, and I'm so excited to continue along my path of vegan enlightenment!!!

Tis the Season!

So with the two big animal consuming holidays approaching fast, being vegan seems to be feeling more like being A big black sheep!!! (Which is probably really great as long as that sheep is in a safe and loving place), but seriously, I guess I want to write this blog so I can vent my feelings into a vegan-friendly/supporting atmosphere. It's all quite simple, really. There is no such thing as not being able to be good, kind, decent, vegan and planetary, universal rights oriented.

There is no big bad thing about perfect life that we can muck up, except to continue to be murderers, oppressors, greedy bigots and ad nausiem.

Life is merely the game of enjoying ourselves, our creativity and our livingness. There is NOTHING to fear by being prohealth of people, animals and planet.

Now let's all run immediately out, as soon as we're totally solid and have friends to walk with us, to stop the world from ALL its maddness. (Okay, okay... saunter out at yer own leisure....)

At 7:03am on March 7, 2008, Eric Ekstrom said…: By the way, the BUEC is looking for land in NM, VT, and NH, maybe Baja, CA.... and we're looking to build a vegan sustainable community... but, for safety sake we want to be a part of the surrounding community boards, etc., like their disability rights, youth sports and library programs, so that this doesn't get a chance to get 'cultish' not that a vegan entity could.....one would tend to think.
