Oh, I'm so old, but feel so young....love all animals and save one at a time. My husband & children, 21, 16, 10 & 7....are very understanding of my "household"....I love to talk, I enjoy great food and good friends.
Love your pics, are you a part of the foie gras movement in Pittsburgh? I have heard of some good things going on up there. My brother in law lives Pitt.
I have discovered ning only today and decided to join the veggie-group. I am writing this comment as I think I am in a similar situation, similar age, non-vegetarian family with kids.
I would love to share some tips and tricks. Maybe my kids (4 and 5.5.) will be vegetarians, too. One day.

I'd like to invite you to join a couple of discussions: One is >> The MYTH of “FREE-RANGE” EGGS. My post contains vital info that your veggie & non-veggie friends might not know about... even you might be surprised! Please spread the word & also add your thoughts to the discussion.
Another discussion is titled “Getting the message out” please >> click here. I’m inspired to encourage people to join this particular thread in the hopes that they will reply very carefully to the original discussion post, which opens with the line “I feel the subject of preventing animal cruelty im(p)edes the Vegetarian/Vegan message rather than helps it.” I hope you too will feel inspired to add your thoughts to this delicate discussion. Please invite your friends to join in so that we can bring more light of wisdom to this sharing!

It's kind of a joke. I'm not REALLY sorry. It's just that often times I get reactions of shock and sometimes even disgust from the liberal/hippie/and/or vegan type community. The football IS made of leather you know. But geez, I'm getting more flack for saying I'm sorry about football than I would've if I just said "WOO HOOOO FOOTBAAAALLL! Maybe I should change my profile. Lol.
By the way, Sanantonio Holmes is on my fantasy team. Tell him thanks for me for last week's game. WIllie Parker is on my team too though. Could you ask him to score some more TDs for my fantasy team? Thanks
