Subject: Kiss108 Is Throwing My Appetite
Dear Staff of Kiss108,
I just heard on the radio that your station is planning a "turkey toss". I am deeply disgusted. Not only is this incredibly disrespectful of the animal that had given its life in the tradition of Thanksgiving but in addition those turkeys could be donated to the thousands of families that do not have the luxury of a Thanksgiving dinner.
In yesterday's Metro was an article about how much harder charities are struggling this year due to the subprime fallout. Everyone is feeling this drain on the economy. See the article here: http://www.metrobostonnews.com/us/article/2007/11/20/01/4028-72/index.xml
Charities in our very own state like Project Bread (www.projectbread.com) that are struggling for donations would gladly receive these turkeys you are throwing around in the street. Not only that but you could at least throw around some rotting pumpkins not a corpse of a once living breathing creature! You spit on the very idea of thanks by doing this action.
As of today I will forever turn off my ears to you and will spread the word of my utter disgust of you to fellow Bostonians who I have Blind copied on this email. I strongly encourage them to forward this message to all of their friends and family as well.
